New Media Goodtime Band

The New Media Goodtime Band is a 4-piece experimental electronic improvisational spectacle. Band Members included Alex Braidwood, Dan DeGeest, Johhny DiBlasi, and myself. We created a “firepit” from old televisions and supplied generative video streams to the TVs that reacted to the audio. Diblasi focused on generative sound created by a custom built neural net, Braidwood brought field recordings and sampling, Dan built custom software to perform patches on his sequencer/sampler, and I created the majority of my sounds using FM synthesis.
